Comments

1. The rescue also funds veterinary, rescue, and hedgehog research work external to the physical limits of the rescue facility. 2. All donations to the rescue are tax deductible under Section 501c(3), US Internal Revenue Code. Public donations are applied directly to hedgehog rescue and care, such as direct rescue expenses and veterinary care. Other rescue expenses such as maintenance of the facility are paid for through specific donations for those purposes. 3. The above figures represent all revenue and expenditures. Some revenue, such as that for the at-cost laboratory testing and pathology service, scale and food programs simply represent an in-and-out passage of funds for at-cost items and do not materially benefit the Rescue.
